Refined family homes that balances warmth with architectural clarity. Rich timber tones flow throughout, grounding the spaces in a sense of natural elegance. The design layers a soft, neutral foundation with sculptural joinery, curved details, and generous natural light. From the statement kitchen to the outdoor entertaining space, each element is infused with an organic feel that seamlessly connects the interior and exterior, creating a home that feels both intentional and effortlessly liveable.

Architecture

A haven for living.

Designed by local architect Elise from Abask Studio

These two dwellings were designed with a focus on access to sunlight to the south facing kitchen, living and dining rooms. These light filled spaces were achieved using a combination of varied ceiling heights, high level windows, double height volumes, and the creation of carefully positioned lightwells within stair voids.

The planning prioritised a flow and intelligent use of space to create homes that cater to the needs of its inhabitants and create a haven for living that connects to its private garden oasis. Designed using a restrained yet warm palette of materials the two homes are of a form that is contemporary whilst nodding to the residential character of its local neighbourhood.

Residences

Designed around the way a family lives

The open plan kitchen, living and dining area is designed to be the home's centre — generous, light, and connected through full-height glass to the alfresco and pool beyond. The intent is a single continuous space that flows from the morning coffee to a Saturday afternoon with friends.

The kitchen is fully equipped: a walk-in pantry, Bosch double ovens, and a 900mm induction cooktop. Outside, the alfresco carries the same standard through to a built-in barbecue and fridge and custom joinery to match the home. The concrete plunge pool features in-floor cleaning, so the pool largely looks after itself.

Each home offers four bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms and a double garage. The master suite with walk-in robe and ensuite, and a second living area and study nook give the home the room to adapt as a family's needs change.
